The Bench welcomes TMT heavyweight Chris Appleby

The Bench FZE announced it has welcomed IT and Telecom specialist, Chris Appleby, to its team.

Joby Beretta, founder and director of The Bench said, “Chris brings with him over 25 years of global IT/Telecom experience, a substantial part of which has been here in the Middle East (UAE and Qatar) but also includes Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand). Our TMT team has already been recognised as punching above its weight at the Middle East Legal Awards 2017 and Chris further adds to The Bench’s strength in depth, especially in his specialist areas of IT and telecom.”

Prior to joining The Bench, Appleby headed up the regional Middle East TMT teams at both Dentons and later Al Tamimi & Co and was also in-house at Dell Services and Vodafone in Qatar.  Appleby commented, “I’m very pleased to be joining up with Joby and his team at The Bench.  In the current market clients in the region are looking for smart, fast, value for money legal services.
