TLA expands with new restructuring partner

Tribonian Law Advisors (TLA) has enhanced its restructuring practice with the addition of partner Roupen Avsharianto the firm’s team. Avsharian’s practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional restructurings, corporate re-organisations and providing general counsel services to regulated and unregulated entities. Avsharian will spend his time between Dubai and Kuwait to better service the firm’s Kuwait-based clients. Avsharian joins TLA from The Investment Dar Company (“TID”), a regulated investment company in Kuwait, where he acted as general counsel for the TID Group for the last eight years and oversaw one of the largest restructurings in the Middle East in recent years.

Prior to moving to the Middle East Region in 2005, he practiced law for almost ten years in the State of California. He obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Western State University, California, United States in 1995. He has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1996.

With this addition, TLA has now grown to 12 fee earners including five partners, one counsel, five associates and one trainee, supporting clients in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon and the rest of the Middle East.
