Trowers & Hamlins’ expands UAE Islamic finance team

Trowers & Hamlins has appointed Islamic finance expert Elias Moubarak as a senior associate in the Banking and Finance department of its Dubai office. Moubarak joins the firm from the Dubai office of magic circle law firm Clifford Chance. His expertise spans all facets of Islamic finance, project finance and capital markets issuances and he has represented numerous leading global banks and corporations.

Moubarak will support Salman Ahmed, the firm's regional head of Islamic Finance, and will also provide support on the debt and DCM aspects of mandates undertaken by the wider banking team and the project finance and corporate finance teams of the firm's international practice.
