UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – DLA Piper ME scoops women in business law award

DLA Piper, has been recognised by Euromoney Legal Media Group’s European Women in Business Law Awards 2013, winning the Regional Award for the firm’s efforts in the Middle East. The award ceremony was held in June at The Dorchester in London where the firm won a total of five awards. 

The European Women in Business Law Awards celebrate the best initiatives undertaken by law firms for gender diversity, innovation, minority women, mentoring, work-life balance, pro bono work and talent management. This is the second year in a row that DLA Piper has been successful, winning the Best International Firm Mentoring Programme and Best in Ukraine categories in 2012. 

DLA Piper Middle East was commended for its efforts, in particular for its approach to corporate responsibility and promoting diversity at all levels of the organisation, both regionally and internationally. The firm was selected as winner of Middle East category over and above a clutch of other international firms.
