Walkers boosts Middle East corporate offering
Walkers, the international legal and professional services firm, has made 58 senior promotions across its legal and professional services teams, taking effect from July 1, 2025. In Dubai, Reghard Smith has joined the partnership in the Corporate team. There have been five further promotions in Dubai across legal services, Walkers Professional Services (WPS) and business services.
This is a record-breaking promotion round for the firm, in a bold signal of its long-term growth strategy and talent-first culture. It comes as Walkers continues to deepen its presence in global financial centres like Dubai to better support clients across the Middle East.
Globally, the firm welcomes 20 lawyers to the partnership, alongside 15 new senior counsel and 14 senior promotions in WPS. In total, 129 people have been promoted at all levels across our global offices in the single largest promotions round in the firm’s 60-year history, almost 10 per cent of the firm’s global workforce.

This news comes as the firm prepares to celebrate a hat-trick of major milestones in 2025. The Dubai office marks 20 years of operations in the Middle East region; Walkers celebrates 15 years in Ireland; and WPS commemorates 10 years of delivering professional services globally.
